The area in front here used to be blocked by the old resident Trident aircraft but since this was broken up late last year it has left a nice space to shoot landing aircraft touching down on Runway 23 and it's a spot I use for this.

As the days become shorter and Winter sets in I tend to use this place more often as there is a big light pole close to the Crash gate further down that casts a shadow almost out to the taxiway which really catches the eye when shooting there so I prefer this view further back instead.
