I had a rough idea of when this Evergreen 747 would depart based on previous visits but got it wrong and had to wait for 90 minutes before it called up for taxi.

Well worth the wait as it meant that the sun was getting nice and low so there was very little heat haze showing on the Runway, this shot was taken at 8-25pm when light conditions were at their best for this kind of head on shot.
