Comments : One of the star visitors to Prestwick during December was this Oasis Hong Kong 747-400 that came up from Gatwick for 90 minutes Circuit training on what proved to be a difficult day for photography due to the heavy overcast conditions.

This was my first shoot with the brand new Canon 40D that I had just bought two days earlier so I put it to the test shooting almost everything that landed or departed.

One of the main reasons why I wanted to upgrade to this camera was it's much improved abilities in low light situations and in this photo I was using 800 ISO, there is a lot less grain showing in 40D photos using high ISO settings compared to the other Canon DSLR range so at this stage I am very pleased with my purchase and that side of the Camera's operation is even better than I hoped it would be.
