F-GAPC Falcon 20 (1978)

This photo of a Falcon 20 is more interesting for the background than the actual aircraft.

Behind the tail you can see the old Spectators Terrace which was closed down in 1977 (I think) due to "progress" and right in the corner above the tail you can just see one of the telescopes where you could put a few coins in and press the button to view the aircraft,a strip of folded up paper had the same result so it was popular with plook faced young spotters.

There used to be a 5 foot high glass barrier all along the pier on both sides so visitors had access to walk well past where the yellow number 1 is above the nose of the Falcon giving very good views of aircraft.
