SE-RBL MD80 Transjet (Prestwick 15-5-02).
Rather than take landing shots in dull weather we moved to the other end of the Airport to photograph them as they taxied down this link after landing so although this shot was about 250mm it gives a chance to use a slow shutter speed to improve the light.
If you get lucky landers on runway 31 will miss this link and go right to the end of the runway out of shot on the left here and this gives close photos.
When the sun is shining this spot is not good as you are getting it in front of you but from about 3pm it is very good from here and I prefer to wait here rather than take landing shots,distance wise a 747 coming down this link is about 180mm.
