G-BIIP Islander Air Express Glasgow (23-6-02).
Got it good at last, this Islander is owned by Air Express and in Air Jamaica colours (ex reg 6Y-JKJ), normally based at Cumbernauld but it is on a four month lease to Loganair at Glasgow.
The Islander does ambulance flights every day from Glasgow but normally parks on an area that is difficult to photograph it, this was it sitting nicely outside the new Loganair Hanger.
I usually have a quick look here in the afternoons if I am passing by just in case something is sitting outside but if a Saab340 or Shorts 360 is here they normally park them tail towards the fence very close which is no good but if you look often enough you can get lucky now and then.
