In 2001 three airlines who operated into Glasgow have went bankrupt mainly due to the terrorist attacks in America and the downturn in flying which has resulted from it so below are some of the aircraft of Canada 3000,Sunbird and British World that will no longer be seen flying into Glasgow.
Sunbird and British World went bankrupt.
The best "glad I didn't miss that" was the Spanair MD80 which went off the taxiway and got stuck in the grass for over 3 hours.
